Bio

Hi I am Tyrone Hall, the youngest member on the District Task
Force on Jails & Justice. I grew up in Ward 1’s Shaw
Howard community and have experienced extensive
stays in and out of the prison system since I was a
teenager. Not being able to attend my mother’s funeral in 2019 was the breaking point, which I now look at
as a blessing. After recently reentering the community in
June 2020, I have dedicated my time and
positive energy into advocating for criminal justice reform
and returning citizens like myself. I
started Academics Music Resources Corp. in October 2020 a non-profit to help at-risk youth transition into
