Hello, I’m Rich Curtis and I’m the Chief Executive Officer of FutureBrand Australia.

👋 I help businesses make sense of their brand through a combination of commercial insight and creative provocation. Forget creative for the sake of creative. I work with clients and companies that over the years have included some of the world’s most recognised local and global brands to create brand strategies, identities and experiences to grow their business.
👊 I’ve been working with the global brand transformation company FutureBrand since 2014 when I joined as Chief Executive Officer for Australia and subsequently my responsibilities grew to include the Asia Pacific region. In July 2020, I acquired the local operations from Interpublic Group, so now FutureBrand Australia is my independent branding company with access to FutureBrand worldwide. It makes us independently minded, locally owned with global relationships and resources.
😎 Quite simply, I liked my job so much, I bought the company. I bought it so that we can double our commitment to the local market, invest locally in our brand transformation offer and provide better outcomes for our clients, as well as a better employee experience for our people. My team in Australia is a diverse, entrepreneurial group of brand, creative and experience experts who work together to help businesses grow by connecting brand purpose with everyday experience.
💥 I’m also the founder of Thirty:3 a social initiative dedicated to giving time to people who need brand and marketing help.
🤓 I have a Master’s degree from Oxford University in Litterae Humaniores – that’s Latin and Ancient Greek. I’ve also studied and performed stand-up comedy, but I could do with a refresher.
🌈 I’m a dad of three. I’m a husband. I’m a wannabe writer and a bit of a daydreamer when I’m not trying to be serious about work.
