After closing a retreat house, restaurant and quilt shop business my husband and I began designing and manufacturing products for tool storage solutions for quilters. That company is Rita’s Racques. We traveled to 40 quilting shows a year until COVID hit. We now are an online store.

I have owned a Rep agency, was a HR Manager for 8 years, designed garage door systems for commercial applications, was a loan officer and when I was younger went to school for appliance repair.

Through all of these “professions” my passion was sewing. I have designed quilting patterns for magazines, shown my quilts at major shows, won a few ribbons and now publish a blog on sewing tips.
