Hello, I’m Ashley Newman — mother of two, passionate entrepreneur and Queen of Bud Founder.

I have worked in many different industries, from construction to marketing and retail, before ending up in cannabis. My devotion to cannabis began when I was looking for a natural, alternative, method of treating my endometriosis. Since then, cannabis has been a major part of my life and I hope to break the stigmas surrounding the use of cannabis and educate and entertain consumers on the cannabis category as a whole.

In life and in business, I gain inspiration from the world around me and strive to bring purpose to every decision I make. My brand is a reflection of myself, created to inspire others to become their most authentic selves, regardless of preconceived notions.

I am a strong believer that we can change the world simply by changing the way we think and perceive life. I strive to bring positivity into all my interaction, part of my deep-rooted philosophies to continuously grow internally. I am exceptionally grateful for the experiences that have gotten me to where I am. I have had to overcome many hardships, but with each hardship came new joy, such as my two beautiful daughters.

Each day, I challenge myself to become the best human I can be, to fight for equality and inclusion, and bring a little extra glamour to the lives around me. I am proud to be a part of an industry that is forever growing and changing, and to have a role in moving it forward.
