Hello! はじめまして、こんにちは！

My parents are Taiwanese, but I was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan.　

両親は台湾人ですが、東京で生まれ育ちました。

I hold a Master’s degree in Japanese Pedagogy from Columbia University.

I also hold a New York State teaching certificate for Japanese and Mandarin.

I have extensive experience teaching Japanese at all levels (beginning through advanced) in the United States and have taught various types of learners ranging from K-12 students, college students, to adults since 2010.

２０１０年からアメリカで日本語を教え始め、これまでに幅広いレベル（初級から上級まで）を対象とした、様々な学習者を教えてきました。

I have a strong passion for teaching and my forte is to implement technology-based language instruction into my lessons. I have also designed and developed numerous original teaching materials on my own.

I am currently raising a baby girl born on Dec 2019 with my husband who is a former JET program participant and works as an ELA/SS teacher at the public school in New York City.

ただいまニューヨークで一歳の娘を育てています。旦那はニューヨーク市立の小学校の教員で、英語と社会を教えています。JETプログラム経験者。
