My Podcast was created as a vehicle to continue to drive my journey of Self Love and growing confidence.
Growing up, I allowed society and the media to convince me that Black was not the standard of beauty, and subsequently began to believe I was not Beautiful.
However, I purposefully unlearned those lies and want to continue to work to dismantle the notion that Black is not the epitome of beauty. I had to grow to love myself naturally, and acknowledge my beauty is attributed to my complexion, and my kinky hair. And that was through re-education and continuous research about Black History!!
Furthermore, I learned to stay true to myself. I know that sharing my TRUTHZ will help encourage people to be true to theirselves, as well. Tune in!
