I was born in Paisley, Scotland. I went to boarding school in Southwold, Suffolk. I flunked my A-levels and ended up at the University of Texas at Austin.

I grew up in England, Ireland, Bangladesh, Nigeria and the USA.

I am a Gen X who feels like she’s 21.
