Bio

Portia Bryant, also known as Absolute, is a highly sought-after performer, emcee/host, minister, motivational speaker and online course facilitator.

She is best known for her hit single “Butterfly” which continues to touch hearts. Her songwriting style and live performances display a musical fusion of contemporary gospel, reggae, jazz, soul, conscious rap and spoken word.

Through God’s grace, Absolute has been hailed as Best Spoken Word Artist by Youth Gospel Entertainment Awards (YGEA) and Hampton Road's Most Inspirational Female Gospel Rap Artist by True Faith Media.

By day, Absolute is a Therapeutic Counselor whose passion is seeing teens and adults receive emotional healing. She received a Bachelor of Science in Communication and Human Services Counseling in 2005 and was awarded her Master’s Degree in 2007.

Absolute’s quest remains to make known the goodness of God. She has accepted her calling with open arms and has merely asked, “What more can I do?” Absolute is the voice of the voiceless, invoking inspiration and encouragement to all within an ear’s reach.
