In 1996 I co-founded an internet website hosting company which, in four years, grew to 400 employees and sold for $23M.

After taking some time off to explore the world and sing at open mic nights, I continued to pursue my passion in brand strategy and user experience design in digital products and experiences.

I mentored under Amy Mew, a world-class Information Architect and User Experience Designer, who helped me land a role at Siegel + Gale, a global brand strategy, design and experience firm.

I quickly rose the ranks, working with fortune 500 companies like PlayStation, Disney, GAP, and Lexus. In 2009 I was awarded the title “Most Innovative”, and was chosen to participate in an Innovation Think Tank at Disney Interactive.

Then in 2011 I had the biggest wake up call of my life when I gave birth to my daughter. I went from full speed to full stop. Clearly, my path was diverging into unknown territory. Thank God for yoga.

Looking back, I see now how I got here and why. I see the purpose I am here to serve, and why my background was necessary to set me up to do this work with you today. After Covid hit I set up an umbrella company, Awoken Me LLC., to support my entrepreneurial ventures, PHLUX YOGA, HELLOBRAND.GURU and another secret project I’m not talking about yet.

I’m here to give you the best resources out there to support you to live in the body you have, with the life you’ve made, and the world we inhabit together.

I believe it is when we work together we can change the patterns of history, I see it happening already.

We have to be willing to acknowledge failure, without shame or blame. We have to move past name-calling and embrace what we’re afraid to face.
