Bio

Aquatic Biologist, Fly Shop Owner, & CFG (Chief Fly Geek) at Ascent Fly Fishing. Peter is passionate about breaking down the science of the world of trout into easy to understand tips at tactics that the fly fisher can tie onto their line and become more successful anglers. While Peter and the team at Ascent Fly Fishing love helping people catch more fish, our driving motivation is to create a community of empowerment, inclusion, belonging, and shared social responsibility. This is done in part by free access to information, employing homeless street youth, and supporting 45 full time fly tyers with over 400 dependents.
