Bio

Peter C. Leferink graduated as a Fashion Design Engineer in 1994.
The first decade after graduation, Peter fulfilled a central role in the team that took the Ann Demeulemeester label to the global fashion stage. The Antwerp fashion heartbeat, known for its unique level of craftsmanship, creating future with history and an absolute eye for aesthetic detail, is still at heart of everything he undertakes; within his work as Head of Fashion & Design at AMFI, the various sustainable and ethical -fashion- related projects he embraced as an art director and consultant over the years, and within the 'M-ODE foundation'.

Over the recent years the fashion industry rapidly turned into a monster destroying both planet and people. AMFI anticipated with responsible learning lines embracing diversity, sustainability and craft x technology, resulting in highly successful programs, which shot AMFI into the very top of leading Fashion Institutes around the globe. Seeing a change of the industry as a necessity, AMFI's staff, teaching teams and students are working fully dedicated towards a healthy and inclusive future for fashion and it’s industry.
