It’s funny how daunting writing once was to me. I’ve now spent so much time with words that what was once a torturous task is now a seamless hobby.

My transition from believing I couldn’t write to starting a collaborative blog would’ve seemed ludicrous, and for lack of a better term, unbelievable, five years ago. I never found joy nor meaning in writing and I knew that as soon as I left school, I would never — and I truly meant *never* — do it again.

Yet, here I am. I’m writing, and not only am *I* writing, but I’m encouraging others to write too.

Perspective is a collaborative blog for clever people. It is a space for *everyone* to write on any topic they’d like with the knowledge that their words will be read by other naturally like-minded individuals.

Perspective is here to inspire, empower and encourage people to write and speak without fear of judgment. Any issue is an important issue. Any topic is an important topic. Nothing is too frivolous, and nothing is too intense.
