He is also the founder of PEOPLE TRUST Community Loan Fund a certified Community Development Financial Institution headquartered in Little Rock, Arkansas where the poverty rate is 32.96% and the liquid asset poverty rate is 58.8%. People Trust is the only minority owned financial Institution in the state of Arkansas, where the lowest usury rate cap in the country is at 17% and no brick and mortar payday lenders operate within the state.
