I am Pekta and I'm a freelance makeup artist based in Bristol UK. I am originaly from Split, Croatia but I moved to the UK a year and a half ago.

During this whole pandemic, I spent my time doing makeup on myself and attending all sorts of webinars and expanding my knowledge. I'm also working on my photography and digital retouch skills so I can implement them with my makeup.
The proudest moment in my makeup career so far is becoming a Danessa Myricks Angel.
I am actually a Fine arts conservator and restorer. I earned my Master’s Degree in Conservation and Restoration of Wall paintings and Mosaics at the Arts Academy in Split, Croatia. After almost ten years of working in restoration, I decided to make a career as a makeup artist.
The transition to makeup wasn’t that hard for me because working with brushes, “mixology” and colour theory are second nature to me.
I am „self-taught “ although I don't like that term. It just means I didn't go to real makeup school but learned a lot from books, Youtube, Instagram and from attending masterclasses from famous makeup artists.
