Sculpture
How grand and colossal this sculpture stands,
Reaching up to the sky, eclipsing the moonβs glamour.
They say he was a great man!
Worked for thy pride and glory of the commune.
My eyes can't reach its face, for itβs too high to look into its eyes.
Looking from far and distinct land, commune seeks freedom from thy grace.
People in slums starving for a loaf of bread,
The sculpture's shade is what they get and greatness submerges into dread.
The Owls hoot and hail in his praise as if he were divine.
Swear to build more sculptures to honour his shrine.
The sculpture promises to Provide shade to the commoner.
How magnificent and gigantic the sculpture is.
Oh, how grand and colossal, yet so hollow is the sculpture .

In the garden of Eden, where Adam was made,
Amidst the lush trees and the cool shade,
He roamed around, free and unchained,
But deep in his heart, he felt a strange pain.
For all the beauty that surrounded him there,
Adam felt incomplete, like something was rare,
He longed for a companion, someone to share,
The joys and wonders of this world so fair.
He turned to his Lord, and made his plea,
"O Creator, give me a partner to be,
One who can share my thoughts and glee,
And be with me, for all eternity."
And thus, from Adam's rib, Eve was made,
A partner, a soulmate, for whom he prayed,
Together they lived, and loved, and stayed,
In the garden of Eden, where they played.
Though some may wonder why Adam demanded so,
A partner, a friend, he felt he needed to grow,
For life is sweeter when it's shared, don't you know?
And that's why he asked, and his prayers did bestow.
