Payel Roy Chowdhury is an Electrical & Power System Engineer by profession and worked in power generation, transmission and distribution Design and EPC projects for over 17 years now. At present she is working in Global Smart Infrastructure Industry in the energy sector. Payel began her entrepreneurial journey with her start up ‘Tea Cheers’ in 2019 in garden fresh tea - a unique garden -to -cup company that delivers the freshest, orthodox, handcrafted premium loose leaf at a tea lover’s doorstep. She is a vocalist from Prayag Sangeet Samity, Allahabad and has performed in various cities across the country. Having learnt Odissi and Kathak, she was associated with Lalit Kala Akademi, Kolkata and has performed widely in Kolkata. She has assisted authors in editing manuscripts, publishing, social media marketing and moderated book launch sessions with eminent people like Manoj Bajpayee, Agnimitra Paul, Randeep Hooda. Payel received Literoma Nari Samman Award , 2020 for her contribution in various fields including engineering . Her articles have been published in leading dailies.
