A recognised authority in the sale of private businesses and raising finance, Paul started his business, Bluebox Corporate Finance, with former Dragon James Caan having previously sold three businesses with him. Paul was previously Senior Partner with one of the UK’s leading advisers to shareholders looking to sell.

Over a career spanning over 20 years, Paul has sold and raised funds for over 150 different companies including some of the UK’s leading businesses Gu chocolate desserts, Princess Yachts, Mappin & Webb, Watches of Switzerland and Smythson.

As CEO of both Bluebox and Velocity Paul works across almost all sectors with businesses valued from £0.5M to £100M.

Lecturing at London Business School to budding young entrepreneurs, Paul found a passion to inspire the business people of tomorrow and led him to create the Young Entrepreneurs Academy, a not for profit organisation that promotes and inspires entrepreneurialism in 13 to 18 year olds.

Regularly quoted in the media, Paul has a direct style and believes the market for financial advice is unnecessarily complicated and expensive.

Paul won Boutique Investment Banker of the year award in 2018 and says that without an incredible team around him, he would simply not have tasted success.
