An asset to the country and community for years, he served as a soldier in both the United States Army and New York National Guard as a Documentation & Payroll admin and in the Color Guard. After his service, he attended Ithaca College and City College for Business and Accounting. He then worked for a bank before becoming a serial entrepreneur, purchasing his first laundromat with his oldest brother.
Pat has more than 17 years of experience working and volunteering in the community education field—in nonprofit, for-profit, and government settings. He has advocated for breaking barriers and bridging gaps that create culturally aware and environmentally conscious youth. The majority of his work addresses emotional, social, spiritual, and financial disparities in communities. Bringing explanation of information to the uninformed and apathetic.
He has trained and mentored through numerous STEM, environmental, athletic, and social justice organizations including: Institute for the Development of Affrican American Youth, Rising Sons, Leadership Beyond the Game, Philadelphia Anti-Gun Anti-Violence Network, Overbrook Environmental Center, and a Commnity Workforce Development and Construction Program.
Pat has an unparalleled work ethic and strong passion for helping children, families, and communities by committing to long-term involvement, and trauma informed thought processes. Pat has formerly worked for a Mayor, State Senator, and City Councilmember. He is currently co-host and assistant producer on the Tone and Tenor bipartisan voices of the people radio show and consulting for environmental, political, and educational programs.
Pat has teamed up in Norristown PA and the Kensington & Fairhill sections of North Philadelphia because the distribution of resources has been proportionally uneven so he’s collaborated and galvanized efforts to rally support for the elderly, communities of color, migrant workers, undocuemnted people, children, and people that need a little help. These efforts have gone from helping 60 or so people to 1000 plus families since the end of March 2020. This has been a conglomerate of Tone and Tenor, West Philadelphia, MLK Non violence foundation, The C.H.A.R.L.E.S. Foundation and The Dr Nathaniel M. Robinson M.D. Legacy Foundation, along with individuals and local businesses that have donated time, food, toiletries, diapers, and other resources.
