Don't argue with the NARCISSIST.
Productive arguments with them are impossible. Because:

1-Deflect
They try to shift the focus of the conversation onto someone else.confronting them as if they are the problem.

2-DENY
they refuse ownership OR any wrongdoing.

3-GASLIGHT
they try to convince the other person into thinking that they are the one overreacting, they are exaggerating OR misunderstanding the situation.

4-ATTACK
they become defensive or straight attack the person that is confronting them. They might even insult or demean the other person just to deflect attention.

5-VICTIM
When attacking doesn't work, they attempt to elicit sympathy by portraying themselves as the victim in the situation.
