OSHUN is a Hip-Hop/Soul duo based in Brooklyn.
The ladies of OSHUN, Niambi Sala and Thandiwe, create music, visuals, and experiences as an homage, expression, and embodiment of the Great Mother. OSHUN carries the name and traditions of the primordial West African deity, Ọṣun.
Also known as Iya Niambi Salako Omiseeke & Iya Thandiwe Fatoyosi Osuntoki, the ladies of OSHUN are Iyanifa & Olosun (priestesses of Ifa & Osun), initiated in the Osun Osogbo lineage by their Oluwo Chief Oniluawoedu Sekou Alaje & Chief Agbongbon Faniyi, and their Ojugbona Iyalode Osunsina Alaje & Iya Oyawale Osundara Okunsewa.
