Most people dream of having the perfect life.  But what stops them? Work, family issues, financial pressures and the hectic pace of living get in the way.

All my life I have been involved in some type of coaching. Years as a high school summer job, I was a Playground Leader coaching kids during the summer parks program, my career for the last 30 years since college has always been working with individuals with disabilities, I was a Special Olympics Coach, a Certified Employment Support Specialist (Job Coach), helping adults with disabilities work in the community. My mission has always been to support people with disabilities to live, work and play in their communities.

As I transition into thinking about what I want to do in my retirement years, I am ready to pursue my passion as a Certified Oola Life Coach and Ambassador of Oola.

In all these coaching opportunities, fundamentally, the coach is helping the individual to improve their own performance: in other words, helping them to learn. Coaching is unlocking a person's potential to maximise their own performance. It is helping them to learn rather than teaching them.
