-Disagreeing with or being critical of Israel’s policies and actions (anti-Zionism) is *not* the same as hatred for Jewish people or Judaism (anti-Semitism).

-One can be Jewish but not Israeli, Israeli but not Jewish, or identify as Jewish but have no connection to Judaism or Israel.

-This confusion has worked splendidly in Israel’s favor to paint the Palestinians as inherently barbaric and anti-Semitic, dehumanizing them and allowing the brutal occupation to continue.

Black Lives Matter. Palestinian Lives Matter. The struggles are absolutely intertwined. Palestinians have bravely stood by Black Lives Matter even in their desperate situation. Where have all the Black and allied voices gone when it comes to Palestine? Where is that same fervor? Why have so many gone quiet?
