I’ve legitimately done makeup for as long as I can remember. I still reminisce about my favorite purple cream eyeshadow. It was in 2010 that I started becoming obsessed with YouTube and beauty. I was in my sophomore year of college, sitting in my biology lecture, watching Kandee Johnson videos. Thinking what am I doing? Why am I sitting here? That night I looked up Makeup schools, and enrolled! I attended Astute Artistry. At the time it was the only licensed trade school in Michigan. After completing school, I was an instructor for the studio, before going completely freelance. I spent a few years as a MAC counter manager and pro artist, before making the move to LA! The first month I was in LA my entire kit/lighting/chair etc. was stolen and I was left with nothing. I’ve managed to rebuild my kit and get back in the game.

I went from very much big fish little pond 🐠 to tiny fish GIANT pond 🐟 and I’m still swimming!
