Oana has worn many hats throughout her career: she is a software engineer turned project manager turned entrepreneur -- always on the look for solutions that use technology to solve social problems in the world. She is the founder of Dalia’s Book, a social impact startup in Romania that prepares children for the future of jobs. In love with technology from a young age, Oana uses her experience as a Software Project Manager for Toptal, an exclusive network for the world’s top freelance tech talent, where she helps clients from all over the world deliver software better and faster.


Dalia’s Book is an online school that provides kids access to relevant 21st century education that they otherwise wouldn’t get in the formal education system. With a mission to close the opportunity gap and bring equitable education to all kids everywhere, Dalia’s Book builds a community of technology experts worldwide that become mentors for the next generation of innovators. The organization’s work has received international recognition for its effort in bringing quality education to children everywhere, being finalist twice as Best Social Impact Startup at the Central European Startup Awards (2018 and 2020), and receiving the Best Digital Skills in Education award from the European Commission (2018).
