Dr. Itzkoff completed undergraduate education at Cornell 🐻 where she was 🎓co-valedictorian. She then attended NYU School of Medicine and completed the Mount Sinai Residency Training program in Psychiatry as well as a Mount Sinai Fellowship. She remains on Faculty at Mount Sinai. Dr. Itzkoff was also selected as the winner of the Adele Zinbeg Award for Women’s Leadership in Psychiatry.
Dr. Itzkoff has been deemed a Top 10 Doctor by Vitals(2014) and earned numerous Most Compassionate Doctor(2010-2016) and Patients’ Choice Awards(2008-2017) throughout her career.
Over the last decade, Dr. Itzkoff has established herself as an educational voice for women's mental health and innovative psychiatric illness treatment options. She writes and speaks regularly on innovation in psychiatry and has published over 100 articles covering topics like advancement in ketamine therapy, TMS, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and PMADS.
Dr. Itzkoff received her medical degree from NYU School of Medicine and completed her psychiatry residency and fellowship training at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, receiving the Adele Zinberg Award for Women's Leadership in Psychiatry upon graduation. She also graduated from Cornell University as co-valedictorian.
