Bio

As the Vice President of Marketing and Events at the prestigious beauty industry member association, Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW), Nicole Cardillo oversees the ideation, content development, execution, and evaluation of CEW’s annual portfolio of events, including overseeing the implementation of marketing strategy for those programs. Prior to joining CEW in 2017, Ms. Cardillo was employed for nearly 18 years at Shiseido Cosmetics (America), the U.S. subsidiary of Shiseido Co. Ltd. and most recently held the title of Vice President of Communications, Social Media, and Consumer Relations. In that role, Ms. Cardillo collaborated with corporate headquarters in Tokyo on the creation and implementation of strategic public relations, social media and digital programs for both the Shiseido and Clé de Peau Beauté brands within the United States. At the start of her professional career, Ms. Cardillo was employed at Rubenstein Associates where she developed media campaigns for a variety of beauty, celebrity, lifestyle and entertainment accounts. Ms. Cardillo is a graduate of the FIT Masters of Professional Studies (MPS) Program for Cosmetics and Fragrances Marketing and Management and was one of the top academic performers in her class. She is also the recipient of the 2008 Victoria’s Secret Beauty Recognition for Outstanding Leadership, an award bestowed to her by fellow graduates in the MPS Program. Ms. Cardillo sat on the inaugural Alumni Board for the FIT MPS Program and is also a mentor for undergraduate students in FIT Cosmetics and Fragrances. She passionately supports beauty industry events and charities and has served on the Public Relations Advisory Board for The Fragrance Foundation’s annual FIFI Gala and on the Benefit Committees for Beyond Beauty and The Skin Cancer Foundation’s Skin Sense Awards. Ms. Cardillo has worked and studied abroad in Europe and completed some of her undergraduate studies at The University of Westminster in London, UK. A cum laude scholar, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Creative Writing from St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York. She currently resides in Long Island, New York with her husband and two, young daughters.
