With  a  singing  career  spanning  some  twenty  odd  years,  it’s  no  surprise  that  Nisa,  for  some  time, has  been  one  of  the  most  highly  sought  after  and  respected  talents  in  the  region.   A  trendy  dresser,  well  known  for  her  unique  fashion  sense,  she  is  a  delicately  poised balance  of  classic  jazz,  fused  with  a  tasteful  blend  of  neo-soul  undertones  and  more  recently ,a soft  but  convincing  expression  of  Soca,  the  cultural  sound  of  Trinidad  &  Tobago.  She effortlessly has the ethereal ability to draw from all of these influences at the same time.

Possessing  an  impressive  resume,   we have seen  her  accompany  the  stage  with  the  likes  of International  recording  artists  VaShawn  Mitchell,  Jermaine  Edwards,  Ron  Kenoly  and  locals Samuel  Dyer,  Rizon,  Jadee,  Jazz  extraordinaire  Vaughnette  Bigford  and  many  others to date.

Over  the  years,  her  personal  growth  has  seen  itself  coupled  with  similar  growth  and  expansion as  it  relates  to  her  craft.  Her  recent  endeavors  in  once  previously  uncharted  generes,  be  it dancehall/reggae:  soca  or  urban  r&b,  has  seen  her  feature  on  some  of  gospels  favorite  records in  recent  times.  Songs  like  the  ever  popular  “This  Kinda  Love”,  a  collaboration  with  Brandon Best  &  Udo  Ibeleme,  and  the  smash  hit  “Ma-Kit  Play-ce”,  written  by  Jerry  Dane  Sellier  (JADEE) that  also  landed  Nisa  and  undeniable  place  in  the  eyes  of  the  Christian  and  secular  world  with the  performance  of  the  song,  placing  her  6th  in  a  category  of  20  women.   A  memorable  milestone  was  also  carved  into  her  career  when  she  hosted  her  first  ever  full length  event,  THE  ESTHER  AFFAIR  in  November  of  2017.  It  was  indeed  a  great  feat  as  many supporters  were  for  the  first  time  ever  able  to  witness  her  in  this  elevated  element.
