Bio

Nitin Arun Kulkarni is a Visual & Design Thinker, Writer and Poet! Currently he is working as a senior faculty with the department of Design Space in NIFT, Mumbai. He has acquired a BFA (Painting) from Sir. J. J. School of Art and a MFA from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathawada University. His Research domain is Cognition and Design Visualization He has 30 years of experience in Design education and is involved in the academic domains of Art, Architecture, Product, Fashion, Design Research and Experience design. Several papers and presentations in the area of Design education and design methods have been published in his name.

As a columnist he has written several articles in Marathi in the area of Art and design criticism during the years 1999-2020. He wrote columns titled 'Chitrashatak', ”Design Diary”, and “Culture of Concepts”, consisting more than 80 articles, he also wrote journal essays for the publications in English. His Marathi poetry collection was published in 1999.
His Paintings and other works were displayed in various exhibitions of repute in India.
