📖 My story: I was a foster child at the age of 4. Putting myself through college and my career while helping my friends is how I discovered recruiting. I was nicknamed “Braveheart” (yes the Mel Gibson version) after advocating for my whole team to leadership for more pay and getting it. I was once told to “stay in my lane” and nearly fired for being innovative. I’m used to navigating environments where everyone has imposter syndrome. I’ve experienced sexual harassment, discrimination, the worst of corporate politics, and made it out the other side. Lastly, I am a divorced mom, homeschooling a 2nd grader during COVID, need I say more...
