Bio

Nia Symone is from Minneapolis, MN and is a Director, Photographer, and Executive Producer. Nia holds a B.A. in English from Clark Atlanta University. During her years in Atlanta, GA, Nia interned at the Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation where she worked closely with the performing arts center. Following graduation, Nia relocated to Los Angeles, CA and quickly found she had a knack for directing. Recently, she has directed several visual poems and music videos. Nia founded N.O.M.O.R.E. Entertainment to tell the uncensored stories of the forgotten. Nia’s purpose is to be a light for young women who struggle with self-love and confidence. She is devoted to empowering the youth. In her spare time, Nia enjoys reupholstering old furniture.
