Yesenia “Moony” Perez is a proud Nuyorican, born and raised in Flatbush, Brooklyn and has been in the entertainment industry for over 20 years. At the age of 15, Moony interned with labels such as Track Masters, Sony and Ruff Ryders. Once of age she started managing a recording studio. With a late start into the film world Moony quickly entered the AD Department becoming an Assistant Director and Production Manager. Moony has a natural nurturing nature, and coupled with a tender but tough leadership style, so this was a natural transition for her. From Hidden Camera shows such as “Impractical Jokers” “Money with Strangers” and “Eric Andre," and “Desus & Mero” scripted “Mooz-lum” “3 People I Never Heard Of” (filmed all in one take) & “The Drummer”, Documentaries / Reality Shows – “I am Heath Ledger”, Staten Island Hustle, Doug and Jamie plus one, to Live Events – MTV Justin Beiber Concert, Music Videos- from Meek Mills – Styles P, Robyn, and more recently with the launch of She Shot Me Films; producing Live Streaming and live-action films.

With her love for Hip-Hop Culture and her relationships within the culture, working on projects with and about people she admired growing up is just the icing on the cake for her.

More recently Yesenia has obtained her Covid Compliance Certification.
