🌻I was raised in Kansas and am one of 10 kids. My parents each ran their own businesses and we learned about hard work from a young age. By the time I was 13, I worked at our party shop by myself. Growing up in a large family we shared everything, we learned to laugh at ourselves, developed a love of travel, and learned about hard work. When I looked at the Sunday newspaper as a child, the open house section was always my favorite. I became curious about homes and real estate at the age of 10 and always knew I wanted to own my own business.

I attended University of Kansas and Kansas State University and still love them both. I have a BS in Business with an emphasis in finance. From there I explored different areas of our country, moving to MD, NY, NJ, and VA and worked in the mortgage industry and later the technology industry and built a technology consulting company to 200 people in 2 years. Throughout my career, I have enjoyed learning new skills, growing personally and professionally.

In 1999 my family and I moved to the Triangle area of North Carolina. I started in real estate as an investor and loved the secondary income we produced for our family. As our girls got older, I decided to focus my full-time efforts on my real estate career and enjoy helping others with their real estate needs. I love the relationships I build with my clients - it’s the best part of my job!

I opened up my own real estate brokerage, NextHome In The Triangle, to build a team of agents that focus on clients and community. We love helping our clients make informed real estate decisions. We sponsor charity events including food drives for the Eastern Food Bank of NC, Saving Grace Animal Shelter, Canine Companions for Independence and provide meals for Veterans on Veterans Day.

I am a NAR Certified and NextHome Certified Instructor as well as a Buffini Certified Mentor. I have earned several real estate professional designations including ePro, ABR, GRI, and CLHMS. I have received various real estate sales awards and love helping buyers, sellers, and investors make informed real estate decisions.
