I provide policy recommendations to governments leaders and decision makers, focused on disaster risk management and climate risk. Additionally, I collaborate with universities, research institutes, NGO’s, and industry partners on international development and fieldwork projects.
My scientific research has successfully recorded some of the first ever measurements of underwater avalanches in the ocean. Understanding these events is important as they pose a major hazard to seaflor infrastructure. Additionally, these events are the primary transport mechanism by which microplastics reach the deep sea
