MY HELPER!

As I sit here reflecting on life.
As I reminisce on the past.
As I retreat into my thoughts.
As I dream of a future I do not see.
The only constant thing is God.
In Him, I live and have my being.
My ever-present help in times of trouble.
Oh, my Helper!

I refuse to fret over uncertainties.
I refuse to be dismayed by challenges.
I refuse to be faint-hearted over the vicissitudes of life.
I refuse thoughts that maim and cause shivers down my spine.
The only pillar of all is God.
He is everything good and beautiful.
He has never failed and can't start now.
Indeed He is my helper.

So...
I stand firm on His words.
I confidently draw strength from Him.
I trust all He says for He never lies.
I embrace Him as Abba Father.
I am rest assured and have nothing to fear.
Oh, my only true Helper.

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10).
