“In all things...APPLY PRESSURE!” I often use this analogy: Our homes are filled with keepsakes and artwork. Nevertheless, the artwork does not just “will” it’s way on the wall. It takes our forethought and effort. Once we decided exactly where it should go, we put hammer to nail and APPLY PRESSURE. Live in intent and integrity always.

As a decades long employee of the largest not-for-profit in IL, I APPLY PRESSURE professionally. A desire to serve underserved populations has led me through the ranks of the organization. I am the Supervising Director of Adult Day Services (ADS). This position has afforded me the privilege to lend compassion and care to older adults living with Dementia/Alzheimer’s disease. I oversee all aspects of Adult Day Services - budgeting, staffing and planning, training, policy development, and progress monitoring. Moreover, I serve as a mentor to others who understand ​in order to lead, you must serve.

I am an esteemed member of an organization that has allowed ​My LIGHT ​to shine. I APPLY PRESSURE personally. I am a ​LIGHT in a community that society continuously attempts to extinguish. I have taken part in countless demonstrations of goodwill and kindness. I take comfort in knowing that I grow every single time I GIVE. Whether it be school supplies or a hot meal, everyone involved ​gains​. We ​gain knowledge...that we are different yet the same. We ​gain​ hope...that ​The LIGHT always defeats the darkness. Moreover, we ​gain​ faith that Divinity resides in the human heart. 💙💛🤍💚❤️
