I’m fascinated by the power that design (advertising/marketing specifically) has on people in their daily routine.

I’m particularly aware of design as a mind control tool - not in a George Orwell novel kind of way - more that people make decisions based on gut instincts (thin slicing - see Blink by Malcolm Gladwell) and often the gut instinct (good or bad) is brought about solely by the success or failure of the design of an ad/piece of packaging/poster/website etc.

With great power comes great responsibility!
