Kcyied Zahir has dedicated the last 20 years of his life to the social, emotional, and educational development of inner city youth in America. He has promoted positive transformations in the lives of more than one thousand individuals ranging in ages from 12- 22. “Coach” Zahir, as he is referred to by so many, possesses an uncanny but realistic approach to addressing young adults who struggle with decision-making, and productive living habits. His skills were evident in the documentary “Heart of Stone”, where worked with rival gang members from the city of Newark, NJ in an effort to get those individuals to not only graduate high school, but to also transform themselves into productive citizens in society.
​Growing up in the unforgiving streets of Newark, NJ provided Coach Zahir with a perspective that runs parallel to that of most inner city young adults all across America. His ability to connect with the youth has proven to be most valuable whenever he is faced with the challenge of transforming the minds and lives of those whom society considers to be the “undesirable”. He provides clarity, and offers clear paths towards a life most of these individuals dare to dream is even possible. Kcyied Zahir is regarded by many to be a fresh addition to the motivational speaking community, and he has a proven method for producing the results needed to reshape and transform the lives of all those whom he is blessed with the opportunity to speak to.
