Only The Heavenly Father’s love can empower us to finally see ourselves, and others with clarity. Not through eyes of judgment, but through the eyes of love. That’s the only perspective that can be trusted to bring about an accurate reflection. While it is crucial to avoid being complacent in the face of sin, it is also crucial to avoid passing judgment harshly, and acting on groundless suspicions without cause.
Yes, our goal as Believers should be to do away with the things in our world that keep people from knowing the love and freedom of Christ. Equally, and maybe more so, our goal should be noticing, and doing away with the things on our own lives that keep people from understanding Christ as well.
After all, don't the systematic injustices usually grow from the individual ones? When we hold our thoughts up against The Father’s standards of what is true and what is real, we can recognize and, with His help, learn to release many of our negative emotions, damaging thoughts, and destructive attitudes against each other. 🕊
