DISCOVERING AND EMPOWERING BEAUTIFUL WOMEN IN NORTH CAROLINA SINCE 2015!

Ms. Full-Figured NC Pageant is a beauty pageant for plus size women in NC - ages 20-60 and 61+. We showcase the accomplishments of today's full-figured woman across North Carolina

Ms. Full-Figured NC Pageant, LLC was co-founded and created in 2015 by Director - Purusha Jones-Shearin. Ms. Full-Figured NC Pageant was created to be a service organization and provide a platform for women to let their voices be heard. In addition, we have a focus on empowering women to discover and embrace the beauty within. We cater to teens and women ages 18-20, 21-39, 40-60 and 61+ Sizes 12+, inclusive of all races and ethnicities. We offer a unique blend of glamour and elegance for full-figured women in North Carolina. 

​"Our Mission is to MAKE A DIFFERENCE" Ms. Full-Figured NC Pageant showcases the accomplishments of today's full-figured woman, as well as their commitment to self-love, confidence-building and empowering others. Our motto is to Empower, Inspire and Serve. We believe beauty is important, however giving back to the community is priceless. The pageant gives each contestant the opportunity to embrace the beauty within, share her story, and develop a platform or enhance an already established platform. As well as network, build strong relationships, and mostly importantly become a part of our AMAZING SISTERHOOD.

Our Cultural Core Values are ownership, accountability, responsibility, balance, transparency, and relationship building. Empowerment is the heartbeat of our organization and the foundation by which we stand on the principles and promises of our sisterhood.

Pageants are a wonderful way to build character and poise while becoming the best individual you can be.

​Pageants are a great way to build confidence and develop the discipline necessary to achieve goals and sense of responsibility. The benefits that any contestant can gain from competing does not require “winning” at all. It simply requires a willingness to be open to this NEW & EXCITING opportunity.

Some of the invaluable skills that you will gain from competing in a pageant are good sportsmanship, verbal communication, time management, and goal setting. Interviewing, filling-out applications, and articulation skills learned during the pageant process will also help in other walks of life.
