Bio

Former Ofsted inspector Currently working as a Early Years Consultant for local authority where I offer professional support to, childminders, owners, managers and other practitioners in maintained, private, voluntary and independent settings in developing and delivering quality provision. I also provide advice and guidance to early years providers and childminders, to support them to meet Early years Foundation Stage statutory requirement and Ofsted registration requirements. I provide information and support to potential childminders looking to register with Ofsted through briefing session and work alongside Adult Education Work with providers with 'inadequate' Office for Standards in Education inspections assisting them in developing and carrying through with action plans, which will lead to improved outcomes and service Contribute to the writing, delivery and planning of the early years training programme including safeguarding.To focus on raising quality standards, improving the take up of free childcare and funding and supporting the workforce development of the sector
