I was born and grew up in Japan. As a teenager, I became interested in issues of developing countries and wanted to do something about children who may not have had the same opportunities that I had.

That is why I made a conscious choice to live and study in South Africa and Ghana. Since then, I've lived and worked in Gabon, England, Kenya, France, and Switzerland.

I have traveled to over 35 countries including South Sudan and Bangladesh where I worked for humanitarian missions of 0.5-2 months. I speak Japanese, English, and French fluently.
