Wendy Cunningham on Clubhouse

Bio

Born with a determination to lead and win, Wendy R. Cunningham (Willingham) has set and achieved goals throughout her life. Despite humble beginnings, she rose to graduate in the top 10 of her High School Class and immediately began her college studies.
There were times when she doubted her abilities and even had thoughts of dropping out. Yet, there was a purpose within her to breakthrough statistics and negative expectations. Deciding to use those thoughts as leverage to overcome, she became one of the first women in her family to excel and become a college graduate, disabling obstacles that plagued her family for generations.
Wendy has a genuine desire to support and impart into children with developmental disorders and young woman that seek guidance, a positive example and mentorship. Due to this, she developed a mentorship program entitled Young Ladies with Purpose. This program has enabled her to become a Presentation Speaker with the YWCA.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee and a Master’s degree in Education from Concordia University- Wisconsin. Both degrees are utilized in her present position of teaching her 3rd grade class in Houston, TX, where she lives with her supportive husband Octavius, and her twin siblings. Wendy has stepped up and took on the responsibility of raising her two younger siblings after her mother’s passing. Wendy recently launched her first book titled “View Through My Lens.
