Hey, I’m Jan 👋
(pronounced like Yan)

I am the creator of ASK DEEP QUESTIONS, a deck of conversation starter cards that helped me and my friends connect on a camping trip and is now beingused to facilitate meaningful conversations through sharing personal and vulnerable stories on every continent around the globe.

My mission is to help people feel less alone, so by creating experiences, workshops and programs I am fuelling the movement for deeper human connection.

My work has been featured on TEDx, CBC News, Breakfast TV, Cityline and HuffPost and I am currently building a community of facilitators that design the MAGICAL HUMAN MOMENTS online.

🐓 I shot a documentary on the illegal backyard chickens of Toronto
🦘 I worked on a cattle station, as fruit picker and as a carnie while travelling in Australia for a year
🎤 I performed a lip sync battle against my wife at our wedding
