There is a lot of buzz around my work in China as I have pioneered the way opening one of the first Caribbean Restaurant concepts in Shanghai with the very successful brand that is Area 501.
With over 16 years’ experience working in corporate, both in China and internationally, I changed career direction to start up one of the first restaurant groups that focuses on concepts centered around Caribbean and Afro-Latin cuisines making me a key contributor and player in the food and beverage industry in China.
I bring a fresh and vibrant energy to the streets of Shanghai offering menus that are authentic to the Caribbean diaspora. My creativity in the kitchen offers traditional tropical, Caribbean and familial dishes made with an amazing blend of tropical tastes and multicultural influences.
I offer a celebration of aromatic, sweet and tart, piquant and mild citrus flavors that are fused with international cuisines
people love. These bold flavors are coupled with vivid colors, and of course
my sweet and hospitable Caribbean personality sets the perfect atmosphere wherever I go. ♥️
