Visual Artist investigates colonialism, religion, imperialism, and racism; I also incorporate/highlight the microaggressions and racism I experience as an immigrant. I try to capture my memories in Yemen. Sharing a different comprehension point of view about Yemen and the humanitarian crisis with honesty. Using different mediums encouraged me to push my experience to a different level without being labeled a political activist. I use art as a tool to visualize my Trauma by creating art in other mediums to heal from the mental wounds that I inherited when I left Yemen due to war.
