Miura has professional background in Social Work/Social Policy. She is qualified to master level with two master’s degrees, one in Public Health and another in African Studies. All her work involves vulnerable people and reaching out to the community aiming to create a more compassionate, open society free from stigma and harm to those who are marginalised.
She is one of the co-founder of Mina Muala Non Peoject that is partnering with Love Your Menses to eradicate menstrual poverty and stigma in Sao Tome and Principe. She is also trained as a Menstrual Educator and delivers menstrual education. Miura is one of the Pad Project Advisor for the Public Health track. She is also working as an Advisor for the Skills Recognition Scotland with Glasgow Caledonian University.
She has exceptional skills and knowledge around working in the community setting with people from different walks of life and her attention is focused on delivering a person-centered approach with compassion.
