She is a LEOW (Law Enforcement Officer Wife), proud Navy โ๏ธ Mom, pet human to 2 Huskies, 1 Lab, 1 Rottweiler and 1 Chihuahua, and rescues & releases hurt or orphaned whitewing doves. Myssie is the 1st and currently still the only ๐๐๐TRIPLE CROWN ๐winner for the Leukemia & Lymphoma ๐Societyโs Team in Training and helped raise over $850k for cancer patients and their caregivers.
Her blog RunMyssieRun.com documents her journey through numerous marathons๐โโ๏ธtriathlons, century rides ๐ด๐ฝโโ๏ธ and half Ironmanโs all the while connecting it with the ups and downs of dealing with cancer ๐in her family. She has been featured by Nike and Sโฌ๏ธTC, ambassador for TRIFLARE and LifeTimeTRI and honoree for the American Cancer Society.
