Bio

I am a PhD researcher at UNM working on HPV and HPV-induced diseases: Cell and Molecular biology; virology; cancer biology.
Past and path: From Tunisia (yes, I am a proud African!) —> to Paris (master in immunology)—> Italy (Ph.D Training)
Present: I achieved my dream and make it from Africa to the USA to thrive as a researcher: living the American dream. Nothing is impossible! Yes we can!
Future: Looking to transient from the academic field to the biotech industrial field to be able to invest my cross-cultural background, and my technical skills in developing products that might positively benefit the humanities.
I want to share my story with people who lost hope (specially from non privileged countries and underrepresented groups) to motivate them and orient them (basing on my own experience) towards the “we dreamt and yes, we DID!”
PS: the food system in the US is a crime against humanity. This needs to change urgently!
