Bio

Founder and CEO of Primary Maternity Care, a service design and consulting firm focused on first-line maternity services in communities and care for low risk birth.

I have a clinical background as a midwife and have worked across the healthcare system in both start-ups and the nonprofit sector with a consistent focus on transforming U.S. maternity care and addressing our poor outcomes and racial disparities. I have deep expertise in maternity care innovation and improvement and in implementing and integrating models including midwife-led care, birth centers, home-based care, doula and peer support models, telehealth, and maternity urgent care.

I’m also a geek about health policy and payment innovation and would love an opportunity to convince you that we should start and beta test a Medicare for All transition with moms and babies.
