Founder/Victim Advocate/Survivor/Radio Talk Show Host/Inspirational Speaker/Actress

I’ve been a Victim Advocate for 21 years. I am the Founder and President/CEO of Perfect Love, Inc., a faith-based, non-profit organization whose mission is to empower women to leave abusive relationships, prevent destructive behaviors amongst our youth, and to strengthen and preserve lives, families and communities nationwide through education, training, advocacy and the Word of God. I am also the Founder, Writer and former Host of a weekly Radio Talk Show entitled Michelle’s HAVEN, where I discussed topics to educate and empower women and men to leave abusive relationships.

I was awarded the NAACP Unsung Hero Award 2016 for my work in the community. I was also awarded the Office of the State Attorney’s Victim Advocate of the Year Award in 2002 and 2012 and was nominated for the Office of the Attorney General Outstanding Victim Advocate Award in 2009 and 2011. I received a Certificate of Honor from the Governor of the State of Florida in recognition of serving the victims of the Pulse Shootings in Orlando, Florida.

I have a Master of Science Degree in Criminal Justice Management/Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Organizational Management. I am a licensed Florida Department of Law Enforcement Instructor and graduated from the Eastern Florida State College Police Auxiliary Academy in January 2011. I also served my country for three years as a soldier in the United States Army.
